Frequently asked Questions

Panels or post-driven—what should I pick?

If you can’t disturb the surface (pavers/asphalt) or need rapid install/removal, choose panels. For longer jobs or windy/exposed sites, post-driven is sturdier and better with privacy screens

How fast can you install?

Often same or next day in Tampa Bay if inventory and crew windows align. For events, book early—festival calendars fill fast.

What heights and lengths are standard?

6' and 8' heights are most common; panels are typically 10'–12' wide. Custom spans and braces available for odd footprints.

Will privacy screens survive Florida wind?

Screens add wind load. We counter with extra ballast, closer post spacing, shorter bays, and bracing. For very exposed sites, we may suggest selective screening or post-driven instead of panels.

Do I need a permit?

Sometimes—especially in right-of-way or when narrowing sidewalks. We’ll flag likely triggers so you can coordinate with the city or GC.

Can you add gates with locks?

Yes—walk and vehicle gates with lockable hasps or chain/lock sets. For events, we can set staffed checkpoints (you provide staff).

Who calls 811 for utilities?

For post-driven installs, we coordinate 811 locates ahead of digging. Panels (no-dig) typically don’t require locates.

Can we move the panels ourselves?

Please call us. Unplanned moves often create trip hazards and unstable bracing. We’ll perform safe re-sets at a small service charge.
